Quick Natural Mosquito Bite Remedy – By True Healing Source

How can you quickly and naturally stop the itch and inflammation of a mosquito bite in it’s tracks?

If you have ever been snacked on by a mosquito like most other humans at some point in time, you most certainly want relief of the itching as quick as possible! I know I do!

So, today I am sharing my NUMBER ONE go to simple, natural and inexpensive quick way to relieve the itching and swelling of mosquito bites!

I have shared this secret with others and they have received the same results!

One thing I have discovered is that if you use this as soon as you notice you have been bitten by a mosquito it will work quicker to remove the itching and reduce the swelling. Normally for me when I use this home remedy I find complete relief of itching within minutes and the swelling is normally gone within hours and you would never know that you had a mosquito bite at all.

What is this simple home remedy for mosquito bites:

Bentonite Clay Powder mixed into a paste! You can also purchase already made bentonite clay paste. Simply make the paste in the palm of your hand by using about the size of a pea of the bentonite clay powder and just mix a couple drops of water in to form a creamy paste and then simply apply it to the bite area covering the whole area that is swollen.

The bentonite clay mixture will dry and look a little gray or whitish on your skin and even flake off a bit if you applied a thick layer which is not harmful. I normally leave the paste on the full day or night depending on the time of day I discover the bite. Simply rinse the dried clay off in the shower or with warm water.

I love throwing things together to eat from whatever I have in my kitchen that feels good and nourishes my body and mind. 

Today’s salad recipe is below and fuck! It is amazing!

This salad is vegan/vegetarian friendly… You’re welcome 🙂

Vegan Salad Recipe

Fresh spinach ( 2 large handfuls chopped)
1/2 fresh orange (chopped into bite size pieces)
1/2 baked sweet potato (chopped into bite size pieces)
3-4 large strawberries (chopped into bite size pieces)
1/4 cup chopped extra firm tofu (chopped into bite size pieces)
1/4-1/3 cup your favorite hummus (I love Trader Joe’s Mediterranean hummus)
slivered almonds
pepitas or regular pumpkin seeds (sprinkled on top)
Sunflower oil (drizzled over top)


You can adjust the amounts of ingredients per your taste. 


There are so many tastes and textures in this amazing salad… crunchy, creamy, sweet, salty and tangy!

Superfoods Vegan Smoothie Recipe

Hello Beautiful Lovers! 


Do you listen to your body when it asks for something like a specific nutrient or food or do you ignore it? It is especially important when you are experiencing additional stressful situations to take care of your emotional health and physical health equally.


Our body’s are always communicating with us to let us know what it requires to feel and be at it’s best Optimal Health and energy.


Emotional health is one of the most important things to increase your physical health, but you also need to feed your body with nutritious foods in order to fuel your body for it’s optimal functioning and healthy electrical circuits and all body systems.


So, I am not talking about listening to your body when it craves ice cream or cake every day. I am talking about really tuning into your body and hearing what it calls for.


I find daily meditation practice is a really beneficial way to raise your spiritual consciousness and connect with your body and cells. I also enjoy yoga. When I practice yoga on a regular basis, I feel so powerfully aligned and in love with my body like never before! I can feel my body communicating with me easily with flow.

Superfoods Smoothie recipe

2 TBL Organic Cacoa powder (Trader Joe’s or Navitas)
2 large handfuls fresh spinach (Trader Joe’s bagged)
2 TBL Organic Coconut Oil
2 TBL Plain Peanut Butter Powder (Trader Joe’s)
1/2 fresh avocado
1/2 medium banana
Pinch pink Himalayan salt
8 oz. milk alternative of your choice or water
Stevia to taste
Crushed ice

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on high for a minute or so until all ingredients are fully mixed and chopped to a consistency you can easily drink.

Vegan Recipe: Carrots, Seared Spinach with Toasted Almonds in Coconut Oil

Do you feed your body nutrients that are life giving and promote cellular communication or do you choose foods that deplete your life force and energy (Chi)?

Hello Loves!

Today I am sharing a simple vegetarian/vegan style recipe that is nutritious and delicious! It is one of my favorite recipes for a light dinner and only takes a few minutes to prepare!

I have significantly changed my diet and healed fungal in the body in the past year and a half and my body no longer really craves anything other than healthy choices with an occasional craving for something sweet which I don’t deny myself any longer or feel guilt when I do indulge.

The change in my diet occurred naturally after doing significant self healing work and clearing personal trauma and raising my self love level massively. I easily dropped over 40 pounds which was always a struggle in the past for the majority of my life no matter what I did or how much I worked out.

The following recipe is one of my favorite light dinners that is super healthy and good for healing your gut and it is fairly low glycemic and can be eaten on a keto diet at certain intervals. 

Super easy to make in just a few minutes! 

You will need: slivered carrots, fresh spinach, coconut oil, pink Himalayan salt and raw slivered almonds.

I got all of these items at my favorite Trader Joe’s, it’s about the only grocery store I have shopped at for about 15 years other than Sprouts. 

You can use the amount that you like. I boiled the carrot slivers until they were just tender. Then as I let them drain, I heated coconut oil and a pinch of pink Himalayan salt (which has 84 super healthy nutrients for your body! read more about that here) on medium heat (coconut oil heats very fast) and threw in 2 very large handfuls of fresh spinach and quickly flash “fry” it in the oil before it wilts. (Be careful as it might splatter a little and you don’t want to get hot oil in your eyes). Put the carrots and spinach in a bowl, then add a little more coconut oil and another pinch of pink Himalayan salt to the hot pan, quickly add slivered raw almonds (for just a little added protein and delicious nutty flavor!) for just a few seconds to toast them and then add them to your vegetables. Like heaven in your mouth! 

Personally, when I consume high amounts of vegetables my body feels better, moves better, I have more energy, feel healthier and I have no bloating. I don’t consider myself vegetarian (I don’t like labels that confine me like that), but I do eat a mostly vegetarian lifestyle with eggs as my main source of protein and occasionally I eat fish either salmon or mahi-mahi. They are 2 of my favorites and super easy to cook and melt like butter in your mouth!

Homemade Electrolyte Drink for the Beach

Hello Beautiful Souls!

Today I am sharing my favorite homemade electrolyte energy drink recipe that I take when we head to the beach to enjoy the sun’s rays and the tranquil sound of the waves crashing on the beach! I could live in my bikini on the beach! It is one of my favorite things in the World!

If you are anything like me, you love the warmth of the sun’s rays and the beautiful afterglow it creates on your skin, but the summer sun can really take a toll on your energy if you are outside for a length of time (hours at a time). In the past I have gotten heat stroke with fever, sunburn, puffy lips and face, dehydration and so forth. I found a couple things that helped me avoid that at the beach and one of them is a delicious homemade energy drink recipe to help replenish your electrolytes as well as energy that you use playing in the sun and water!

I found this recipe years ago and have altered it slightly to my taste and sip it all day long when I am outside in the sun for extended periods at the beach.

I love this energy drink recipe because it is uses all natural ingredients and has no added chemicals or other harmful ingredients or sugars other than what the fruit provides.

I do a lot of my grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s and I am there a few times a week, so I get all these food items there to create this tasty summer electrolyte energy drink.

You will need a container that will hold about 50 ounces of liquid.

Ingredients List:

1 whole fresh orange
1/2 of a fresh lemon
1/8 teaspoon pink Himalayan salt
1/2 Container of Trader Joe’s Large Coconut water
Honey or Stevia to taste
Fresh spring water or Electrolyte water (Trader Joe’s)

Squeeze the juice of the whole fresh orange and half of a fresh lemon into your container. Add the honey and the pink Himalayan salt which has so many health benefits (find out more about the health benefits of using pink Himalayan salt over other salt here). The original recipe called for over a tablespoon of honey. You can use Stevia if you prefer, although there is natural sugar already provided from some of the other ingredients. Next, add the contents of about half of the large 33.8oz pure coconut water. Shake before you add the pure spring water to dissolve the honey and salt, otherwise it takes a little longer to dissolve on it’s own. Finally, add the electrolyte water or fresh spring water to fill the rest of the container to the top. Shake/mix all the ingredients in your container and sip throughout the day for a refreshing, delicious electrolyte energy boost!

Notes: I prefer the electrolyte water vs. the spring water for the added electrolytes when I am in the harsh sun. I also prefer the honey over the stevia because it tastes delicious with the mixture of the other ingredients and it is calorie/nutrient dense while out in the sun.
